FAST KOREAN BEEF
This recipe is inspired by our friend's dish they do at their local coffee shop! If you're like our family, sometimes our go-to meals can all start tasting the same- just with different presentation. My mind was blown with all the new flavor experiences, PLUS the kids love it!! This dish is so simple and with majority of ingredients you already have in your kitchen!
KOREAN BEEF
-2 lb ground beef
-4 cloves garlic, minced
Sauce:
-1/4 c Liquid Aminos or coconut aminos (or Soy Sauce)
-1/4 c honey
-2 tsp sesame oil (okay to use other oil if needed)
-1/4 tsp ground ginger
-1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (dependent on your family’s preference on heat)
-1/4 tsp black pepper
-2 cups of rice of your choice
Toppings:
-Sliced Green Onions
-Sesame Seeds
Optional:
-2 c Chopped Green Beans
Instructions:
Cook rice as per instructions on label. Set aside for later.
Add all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and whisk together, set aside.
Cook the ground beef and garlic in a large skillet until browned. Once fully cooked, add the sauce ingredients to the skillet and let simmer for about 2 minutes.
Serve in a bowl with a layer of rice, green beans, beef, and garnish with green onions/sesame seeds.
